Position Description:
BlackBag Technologies, a leading data forensics firm, is seeking developers with significant C, Perl, and /or Shell scripting experience. We are seeking candidates with a solid understanding of various database scenarios with strong UNIX programming experience. Candidates should possess a desire to work with large data sets consisting of various file types. These positions offer the opportunity to work across multiple products, developing both forensic and electronic discovery software. Qualifications:
- Five (5+) years product design / development experience.
- Strong C, C++, Perl / Python
- Solid understanding of various database concepts and designs.
- Working understanding of different file systems.
- Strong experience working with large sets of disparate data.
- Familiarity with storage device drivers a plus (ATA, SATA, USB, FireWire).
- Desire to work in a Mac environment.

We are seeking candidates with proven release experience with particular expertise designing innovative and elegant user experiences. Skills must include some combination of the following; Java, AJAX, PHP, and XML / HTML. Candidates with prior experience related to document management and large scale databases strongly encouraged to apply. Analysts will immediately take on case processing and analysis responsibilities, balancing technical understanding with client needs.
