Immediate Opening - Senior Accountant - San Jose CA or Dulles VA

Position Description
BlackBag Technologies, a leading data forensics company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Finance and Accounting team. The Senior Accountant will manage and be involved in the day to day accounting operations. Candidates must be detail oriented, strive to produce only quality work and have strong communication and organization skills. Candidates should feel comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environment. This position reports to the Company’s CEO.

Responsibilities
-       Manage and oversee 3rd party finance and accounting vendors.
-       Accounts payable, including expense reports, corporate credit card reconciliation, weekly check runs and file maintenance.
-       Accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections and file maintenance.
-       Fixed assets tracking and annual property tax return.
-       General ledger, including Inventory tracking, journal entries and account reconciliations.
-       Bank account reconciliations.
-       Manage and initiate bank wires for vendors, employee reimbursements, payroll, 401(k) & global benefits .
-       Administration of annual state tax filings.

Qualifications
-       Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
-       5+ years related work experience.
-       Flexibility and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
-       Attention to details and organization; strong quantitative and analytic skills; quick learner.
-       Strong written and oral communication skills.
-       Hands-on, roll up your sleeves attitude required.
-       Must have a high level of proficiency in Excel / Numbers and Word / Pages.
-       Ability to work in an all Mac environment – Mac experience preferred.
-       Experience with NetSuite Accounting Software a plus.

Immediate Opening - Digital Forensic Examiner - Baltimore, MD

Position Description
BlackBag Technologies, a leading data forensics company, is seeking a Digital Forensic Examiner to provide forensic examination support for the Department of Defense and supporting organizations. Conducts forensic examination and analysis on digital media to include computer systems, hard drives, mobile devices, storage devices, and other media devices. Provides expert witness/testimony support and technical consultations related to investigations, trials, and inquiries. This individual must possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Responsibilities
-       Provides forensic examination support for the Department of Defense and supporting organizations.
-       Conducts forensic exams in accordance with accredited laboratory procedures.
-       Creates detailed notes on processes undertaken and develops forensic reports in support of criminal investigation and trial proceedings.
-       Assists the customer in developing new and innovative forensic processes and procedures.
-       Provides expert witness testimony in both military and civilian courts in support of forensic examinations conducted by the examiner.

Suggested Qualifications
-       Minimum of 5 years of professional experience without a degree; or
-       2 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline; or

Required Skills
-       Demonstrated experience in the field of digital media forensics.
-       Demonstrated experience in mobile device data extraction and/or analysis (CELLEX).

-       In-depth experience with file system analysis, registry and internet history analysis
.
-       Understanding of encryption technologies, anti-forensics techniques, malware detection, timeline analysis, email analysis, signature and hash analysis.
-       Experience with forensic media imaging
.
-       Demonstrated experience with forensics tools such as BlackLight, EnCase, FTK, and Xways.

-       Strong documentation and written communication skills with technical report writing experience

-       Ability to acquire and maintain a TS clearance



Desired Skills
-       Industry standard certification(s) such as: CFCE, EnCE, ACE, GIAC, DoD
 Forensic tool and script development

-       Programming experience
.
-       Law enforcement investigation experience and understanding of search and seizure

Position Description
BlackBag Technologies, a leading data forensics company, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to support our growing customer base. You will be responsible for the generation of new sales opportunities for our digital forensic software products within the U.S. Federal marketspace. Candidates should have solid experience driving deal flow, exceeding sales objectives, and genuinely care about solving customer's problems and feel comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications:
-       Minimum 5 years of software sales experience desirable.
-       Demonstrable record of over-plan sales achievement
-       Strong negotiation and closing skills
-       Experience selling to government required; law enforcement desirable
-       Proven experience in building territory plans
-       Strong interpersonal communication skills.
-       Good organizational skills; capable of effectively balancing multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
-       Act on and qualify incoming leads.
-       Prospect for new clients (predominately law enforcement and government sector) within an assigned market vertical (U.S. Federal).
-       Develop an in-depth understanding of customer's environment, workflow and how our products align with those requirements.
-       Maintain complete and accurate records of all sales activities in our sales CRM.

Position Description
BlackBag Technologies, a leading data forensics company, is seeking a Sales Engineer to support our growing customer base. This position will work across all forensic software products to offer in-depth technical support for both new and existing customers. The position requires a strong technical competence and excitement for learning new technologies and solving complex problems. Candidates should feel comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications
-       Minimum 3 years of pre-sales technical experience desirable.
-       Technical, working knowledge of MacOS & Microsoft Windows operating systems is required; knowledge of other operating systems is highly desirable.
-       Working, technical knowledge of Mac, iOS, Windows & Android forensic concepts & practices.
-       Strong interpersonal communication skills.
-       Good organizational skills; capable of effectively balancing multiple responsibilities.
-       Recognized qualification in Digital Forensics desirable.

Responsibilities
-       Conduct product demonstrations for new and existing customers online, at trade shows and in person.
-       Follow up with prospective customers and answer pre-sales technical questions.
-       Develop in-depth technical knowledge within the forensics and investigations area.
-       Deliver on-site and web-based presentations to broad audiences.
-       Initiate, develop and maintain customer relationships to drive sales efforts.

Immediate Opening - Shipping and Receiving Associate - San Jose, CA

Position Description
BlackBag Technologies, a leading data forensics company, is seeking an energetic part time Shipping and Receiving Associate to assist our product fulfillment team. You will be responsible for licensing hardware, packing it, and shipping it to our end users.

Responsibilities
-       Tracking product inventory
-       Prepare completed orders for delivery (license, pack, ship) product for customers
-       Receive shipments and product
-       Assist carriers during pickup
-       Keep shipping and fulfillment area clean and organized
-       Prepare stock and packaging for future fulfillment

Qualifications
-       Able to lift 50lbs
-       Light computer use/experience required
-       Extreme attention to detail concerning inventory, receiving, shipping and part numbers.
-       Prepare shipping labels via UPS, FedEx, USPS or DHL
-       Enter data in to our ERP system
-       Able to be detail oriented and consistent
-       Must be able to work 5 days a week from 1:30/pm – 4:30pm

Compensation
This position is part time and is non-exempt
