Immediate Opening - Help Desk / Developer - Herndon, VA

Position Description
BlackBag Technologies, a leading digital forensics company, is seeking a full time Help Desk / Developer. You will be responsible for providing internal employee technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, network, systems, or software. You will also have responsibility for deployment, integration, troubleshooting, installations, maintenance, cutovers, sustainment, and decommissioning of IT applications, systems, and components. Additionally, we are looking for a person with strong scripting (web application and shell/command line) to help connect various systems and implement new processes. You will respond to queries, troubleshoot and provide solutions.

Responsibilities
-       Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
-       Respond to queries either in person, phone, or chat.
-       Write training manuals, instructions, help documents.
-       Train computer users, setup new users, create and administer accounts/logins.
-       Create processes and procedures for onboarding users.
-       Resolve network issues, routing issues, and firewall issues.
-       Provide O365 support, setup aliases, groups, etc.
-       Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
-       Handle procurement for new and replacement hardware for users.
-       Update and maintain asset management systems.
-       Script as needed integration and systems.
-       Create and install new company systems under the direction of the IT Manager.

Quaification
-       10+ years professional experience.
-       Must have strong MacOS experience.
-       Must have strong Windows OS 10 experience.
-       Must demonstrate strong skills in working with remote users.
-       Must have experience using O365 or similar email management platform.
-       Must have strong scripting skills with PHP at a minimum, Shell is a plus.
-       Must have the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose network issues.
-       Experience with Salesforce development or Salesforce developer certification a plus.
-       Experience working with API’s REST/SOAP and MySQL Databases are a plus.
-       Experience managing AWS is a plus.
-       Experience with JIRA/Confluence is a plus.

Position Description
BlackBag Technologies, a leading digital forensics company, is seeking a Sales Engineer to support our growing customer base. This position will work across all forensic software products to offer in-depth technical support for both new and existing customers. The position requires a strong technical competence and excitement for learning new technologies and solving complex problems. Candidates should feel comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications
-       Minimum 3 years of pre-sales technical experience desirable.
-       Technical, working knowledge of MacOS & Microsoft Windows operating systems is required; knowledge of other operating systems is highly desirable.
-       Working, technical knowledge of Mac, iOS, Windows & Android forensic concepts & practices.
-       Strong interpersonal communication skills.
-       Good organizational skills; capable of effectively balancing multiple responsibilities.
-       Recognized qualification in Digital Forensics desirable.

Responsibilities
-       Conduct product demonstrations for new and existing customers online, at trade shows and in person.
-       Follow up with prospective customers and answer pre-sales technical questions.
-       Develop in-depth technical knowledge within the forensics and investigations area.
-       Deliver on-site and web-based presentations to broad audiences.
-       Initiate, develop and maintain customer relationships to drive sales efforts.
-       Resolve customer issues and communicate feedback to Support and Development teams.


Travel Percentage
This position will require 40% to 60% travel throughout an assigned sales territory.

-       Hunter with 7+ years Cyber Security/Digital Forensics sales experience as a channel manager in a mixed (direct/indirect) environment
-       Experience with companies such as: OpenText (Guidance), AccessData, Magnet Forensics
-       Vertical experience in Federal and Local Government, Law Enforcement and Corporate
-       Has sold solutions through a channel in a startup environment
-       Has established relationships with regional and national digital forensic software resellers.
-       Understands digital forensics/cybersecurity industry, concepts, vocabulary, methodologies and software.
-       4+ years of over quota achievement as a channel manager developing the channel
-       Communicates effectively with a diverse customer audience, including C-level executives and technical staff.
-       Ability to identify key security business issues through their interactions during the sales cycle to apply and differentiate the BlackBag solution (assisting the channel partner).
-       Experience creating and delivering professional sales presentations.

Software Developer - US

Position Description
BlackBag Technologies, a leading digital forensics software firm, is seeking Software Engineers to become an integral part of our team! This role involves working on all aspects of our desktop forensics applications. Software Engineers face new and interesting challenges on a regular basis, making immediate contributions to product development. Candidates should feel comfortable working with small remote (US based) teams and be able to work on their own.

Qualifications
-       Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields. A Degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
-       Strong experience with object oriented programming (C++, C#, Java)
-       Mobile technology (iOS, and Android) development experience desired
-       Experience with GO, XOJO, Visual Studio, Python is a plus

Immediate Opening - Digital Forensic Examiner - Baltimore, MD

Position Description
BlackBag Technologies, a leading data forensics company, is seeking a Digital Forensic Examiner to provide forensic examination support for the Department of Defense and supporting organizations. Conducts forensic examination and analysis on digital media to include computer systems, hard drives, mobile devices, storage devices, and other media devices. Provides expert witness/testimony support and technical consultations related to investigations, trials, and inquiries. This individual must possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Responsibilities
-       Provides forensic examination support for the Department of Defense and supporting organizations.
-       Conducts forensic exams in accordance with accredited laboratory procedures.
-       Creates detailed notes on processes undertaken and develops forensic reports in support of criminal investigation and trial proceedings.
-       Assists the customer in developing new and innovative forensic processes and procedures.
-       Provides expert witness testimony in both military and civilian courts in support of forensic examinations conducted by the examiner.

Suggested Qualifications
-       Minimum of 5 years of professional experience without a degree; or
-       2 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline; or

Required Skills
-       Demonstrated experience in the field of digital media forensics.
-       Demonstrated experience in mobile device data extraction and/or analysis (CELLEX).

-       In-depth experience with file system analysis, registry and internet history analysis
.
-       Understanding of encryption technologies, anti-forensics techniques, malware detection, timeline analysis, email analysis, signature and hash analysis.
-       Experience with forensic media imaging
.
-       Demonstrated experience with forensics tools such as BlackLight, EnCase, FTK, and Xways.

-       Strong documentation and written communication skills with technical report writing experience

-       Ability to acquire and maintain a TS clearance



Desired Skills
-       Industry standard certification(s) such as: CFCE, EnCE, ACE, GIAC, DoD
 Forensic tool and script development

-       Programming experience
.
-       Law enforcement investigation experience and understanding of search and seizure

Immediate Opening - Shipping and Receiving Associate - San Jose, CA

Position Description
BlackBag Technologies, a leading data forensics company, is seeking an energetic part time Shipping and Receiving Associate to assist our product fulfillment team. You will be responsible for licensing hardware, packing it, and shipping it to our end users.

Responsibilities
-       Tracking product inventory
-       Prepare completed orders for delivery (license, pack, ship) product for customers
-       Receive shipments and product
-       Assist carriers during pickup
-       Keep shipping and fulfillment area clean and organized
-       Prepare stock and packaging for future fulfillment

Qualifications
-       Able to lift 50lbs
-       Light computer use/experience required
-       Extreme attention to detail concerning inventory, receiving, shipping and part numbers.
-       Prepare shipping labels via UPS, FedEx, USPS or DHL
-       Enter data in to our ERP system
-       Able to be detail oriented and consistent
-       Must be able to work 5 days a week from 1:30/pm – 4:30pm

This position is part time and is non-exempt
